Metaphor: ReFantazio Showcase Reveals Two New Companions and Their Archetypes
Atlus has unveiled a new video showcasing Metaphor: ReFantazio, the upcoming Studio Zero's RPG set in a fantasy world. The video delves deeper into the story, the world, and the characters. It offers insights into several companions accompanying the protagonist and highlights two new characters – Neuras and Junah.
Neuras is responsible for operating the Gauntlet Runner. He previously worked as a designer for the royalty. Though he doesn't partake in battles, his light-heartedness and ability to awaken the Gunner Archetype add fun to the game. Further interaction with Neuras opens up the possibility of the Gauntlet Runner's transformation as well as enhancement of the player's skills.
Junah, on the other hand, is a hugely popular singer with an intriguing backstory. She portrays the Masked Dancer Archetype. Persona artist Shigenori Soejima designed her character, drawing inspiration from the "Swinging London" movement of the 1960s for her attire. The game developer further shared about the construction of the eight tribes, formed from human inherent qualities.
Metaphor: ReFantazio will be released on October 11th and will be available on platforms like PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
